We analyze the issues, identify possible alternatives, define the risks and ramifications of each, and recommend a course of action that makes the most sense for the client. P.L. Jones & Associates, P.C. was organized in 1996 as a professional corporation following 10 years of practice as a partnership and is licensed as a certified public accounting firm by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Accountancy. The firm is certified as a Women Business Enterprise by the State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. P.L. Jones & Associates P.C. is headquartered in our offices at 34 Cedar Street in Worcester. We have another full-service office at 14 Grove Street in Athol. Our Central Massachusetts locations allow us easy access to the New England area. The firm offers a range of services including accounting, auditing, tax preparation and planning, and systems consulting. Our client base is composed of the following: Governmental and Not-For-Profit Entities, Corporations/Small Businesses, and Individuals. Our staff consists of nine professionals and three support staff. As a mid-sized local CPA firm you will receive experience and capabilities unmatched by other firms because of the extensive involvement of the partner and manager. Our personnel have extensive experience, skilled both in the actual performance of auditing procedures and in problem solving necessary to assist our clients with a wide range of management and financial issues. We do not prepare jobs justified by firm and partner experience, only to have inexperienced staff appear to do the work. All of our supervisory personnel are "hands-on" performers. We are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Our initial review under the firm of P.L. Jones & Associates, P.C. was performed in May 1997. We were issued an "unqualified" report with no letter of comments, the highest level of report obtainable. Our latest Quality review was performed in December 2003.
